DIGITAL STRATEGIES

So we go where people are

DIGITAL STRATEGIES

Digital Strategies (DS) seeks to know, engage and empower like minded beleivers in Rwanda through short films and other digital tools for evangelism and discipleship. With programs such as Indigitous, Hackathon and Social Media outreach, DS brings together digital practitioners and other interested stakeholders to come up with software applications to help in fulfilling the Great Commission. It provides an innovative and unique opportunity to get involved in the intersection of technology, faith and the common good.

OUR STRATEGIES

Indigitous

Indigitous is a combination of two words; Indigenous because it reflects our desire for locally-generated strategies that work in each generation, language and culture and Digital because we believe digital tools, resources, platforms and strategies can accelerate God’s mission. Indigitous  connects different people to a common mission, strategies that are effective and projects that are on the cutting edge of missional innovation.

Hackathon

Hackathon – this is a collaboration between technologists, designers, students, ministry leaders and leaders harnesses the power of a generation of purpose-driven and faith-inspired technologists who are looking for opportunities to serve others through technology. We convene people from all backgrounds who want to collectively make a difference, to live a life of purpose, and to use our skills, gifts, and expertise with technology to impact our country and the world.

Digital Day of Outreach

Digital Day of Outreach - this is a day set aside a day to mobilize people to share the Gospel using the different social media platforms and short Films.

Short Films

Short Films are conversation starters for the gospel presentation. They provide a non threating approach to sharing the gospel to non-believers
